Yesterday we made a quick trip back out to the coast for a birthday dinner but I also used the opportunity to slope off and grab some beautiful coastline shots.
I had another objective also with the lighthouse close by but once that was accomplished i pointed the camera down and scoured the coastline for some interesting coastal features.
So for this community post I鈥檝e selected some coastal shots that I can showcase in several mediums and if anyone has seen any I have posted in here before you鈥檒l know Imalso like to add a colour splash shot also which I am rather fond of.
The foaming water against the cliffs makes for a nice effect and the contrasts of vegetation, sea and rocks always makes for interesting textures that will lend themselves differently in the different mediums. Some work better in some than others and then add a dash of personal preference into the mix and select the ones you like.
For me, even thkugh I鈥檓 a huge black and white fan, the colour and colour splashes work the best except maybe in the very first image posted where the black and white looks boss!
But with the camera pointed directly downwards the contrasts of sea and land seem to work slightly better with full colour or just a dash to emphasize the separation of lamd and sea.
Either way these were a lot of fun to take and to manipulate afterwards with a beer.
When I first started with the drone I was more into the video aspects of it but more and more now I am finding I am focusing on straight photography as the results are dynamite.
As always I鈥檇 love to hear from all of you hivers about which shots you like and why.
There is no right and wrong as it鈥檚 all whatever floats your personal photography boat so please don鈥檛 be shy and let me know in the comments below 猬囷笍 馃憞
