I, too, am fond of iris. Many years ago, a former neighbor shared many rhizomes with me when she separated her perennials. She had nearly every color of iris imaginable, and I ended up with quite a few different colors, too. But, as I got older, I had too many flower beds to keep up with, so I gave away nearly all my iris. I kept a few of my two favorite colors. One is a very short iris that is the color of root beer and also smells like root beer. The other one is purple and white, It hasn't bloomed since I moved it to a different location in the yard, so I might have to move it again. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos.
