Delusional: 4,5,and 7 for sure. #3 and #6 are an "it depends" thing. #1 happens sometimes, but I don't think it requires treatment, unless it's ongoing. #2 is strictly an opinion. #8 doesn't

It's odd how some things just don't grow some years. I had some problem crops this year, too.

That's a really nice case you 3D printed. I've had some recent bird misadventures, too. I keep the blueberry bushes swathed in bird netting so keep birds AND ground squirrels out. One bird managed to get

That's food for thought. My husband has a dreadful short term memory, too. He, too, has had tests and he is said to not be developing dementia. I can leave him a note, and he forgets to read it. Or he

I'm never quite sure what to do with the garlic scapes. This year I looked for ideas online. So I dried them in the dehydrator, and then put them in the food processor, and ended up with a powder-like

Oooh, that was a grisly story! Well told, however.

Your yard is so beautiful! I love all the flowers, and the frogs, too. What a downpour! That's crazy weather.

Thanks for sharing the recipe! I have a question about it: do you just peel the lemon like you would peel an orange? Can't say I've ever tried that! Is that an old yellow Pyrex bowl I see in the photo?

I think cucumbers and tomatoes are among the worst-tasting grocery store produce. And zucchini. I am sad because my cucumber plants all died.

I've never grown kale before. Ms. W. gave me that one plant. The lower leaves keep turning yellow, and I don't know why. Got any ideas?

There's a great deal to love about this post. I got married 43 years ago, and we kept it quite simple. I did buy a traditional white wedding dress, but it wasn't super expensive. My two sisters were my

I love hollyhocks! I used to have a row of them against the house, but the deer really like them, so I had to put up deer fence. When I got tired of dealing with the deer fence, I gave away the hollyhocks

Thanks!

Correct.

I can't imagine Kat-involved festivities without Kat-created tasty food. It all sounds delicious! Looking forward to that recipe post, the phantom boat story, and the Jo-Jo tales.

My husband just turned 70 and he qualifies as a G.F. He has been so for many years. He usually puts on his best face when other people are around, but now and then he slips.

I am sure our country's founders would be shocked if they could see what has happened to our "free" country. So many of our freedoms are gone now, and more disappear each day. Those striving

The butt-sponge idea sure sounds like a lot of fun, though...for a kid. I don't plan to test it.

That was fun to look back at your past early-July activities. Does the bear pass through very often? I've never seen one here, but my sister sees them from time to time at her place in Montana.
