I'm kind of glad that Season 1 didn't end on a massive clifhanger to be honest but it still sucks that these series always need to wait to see what the viewing numbers are before they really get the green light for the next season which creates years inbetween them. From what I read, the (SPOILER) "atom bomb ending' was something they added last minute and they don't fully know yet what to do with it. It's also said that there will be around 40 episodes so 4-5 seasons likely.
Even with the filler slow episdes, I highly enjoyed watching it each week which makes me want to check some more apples original series. Next up on my list is Shrinking which I heard is quite good also.
Happy 2026!
