Based on the price you pay you will get it filled sooner or later. In the dashboard you can see your leases and how far along they are. If the one who delegates doesn't manually take it back after the period is over, it stays in place so you basically can get some for free after the period is over if you are lucky (curreltly I have active leases for around 2570 HP while I''m getting 1000 more for free). A big part of the cost is basically paid back by curation rewards, so you very cheaply should get the benefits of getting noticed more as your upvote grows and get way more back over time than what it costs. So at the right price it's a no-brainer if you are active on Hive and want to grow.
