Splinterlands Weekly Battle: MYCELIC MORPHOID! (Giveaway #7)
Greetings
Hey everyone, it is almost the end of season and I boosted my power to 250k to ensure my EOS reward. Today I would like to share an epic battle about MYCELIC MORPHOID, don't forget to have fun watching the battle and enjoy the new giveaway!!
The Battle Rules
27 Mana Cost
EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY: All Monsters have the Blast ability.
EQUALIZER: The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.
My Team
It was a mid level mana battle for me in Gold ranking. I decide to use my earth magic team to smash my opponent with the blast rule set since the blast rule-set brings advantage to magic damage that ignore the armor or monster. Sometimes the strategy works very well. Let's move on.

The Lineup
Summoner
The OBSIDIAN is a good Earth chaos legion summoner that provide attractive +1 magic damage for the current meta since now we have lots of magic earth monsters.
Front Row
The 1 mana cost MYCELIC MORPHOID is always a flexible choice when you don not know what to pick or there are just a few mana left. I utilize the EQUALIZER rule-set to place it as a tank in my front line to protect my back line monsters. A friendly suggestion is that try to get it to level 3 as soon as possible since it provide Thorns ability to reflect and deals extra damage.
Second
The 0 cost FUNGUS FIEND under EQUALIZER rule-set plays a tank role too. Having a tank with 0 cost is always a good think during battle.
Third
Here come one of my favorite magic card in earth: KRON THE UNDYING. It is a perfect match with Llama. In this battle, it works well with OBSIDIAN too. The healing ability help my Kron survive for a few more rounds.
Fourth
The DJINN BILJKA actually is a good reward legendary card that I just bought a few more copies today. The void ability helps it survive against magic damage. In this battle, I made an assumption that my enemy will also use magic damage so that I put it behind my Kron to absorb magic blast damage.
Fifth
The QUEEN MYCELIA is way too powerful in the magic team which provides two more shield for all the monsters while only costing 4 Mana. Technically, it provides so much efficiency in the battle while costing not too much.
Last
The MUSHROOM SEER is the best counter magic old edition reward card in earth team with the silence ability to decrease the magic damage of enemies. It is also based on my assumption that my opponent will use magic team as well.
Battle Result
Yep, I just smashed my enemy with my strategy. In my opinion, I did try to make every detail and line-up perfect to increase my win rate such as putting my BILJKA behind Kron.
