I can understand why you are closing your Patreon, I’ve seen some artists do that too, it seems to be a place where people feel a lot of pressure to deliver, which can be stifling. I think it’s great that you’re trying out in a lot of places, obviously not every place will work out, but we’ll never know if we don’t try and these kind of posts certainly help me to understand the differences between these sites.

Glad to see the phoenix tattoo is progressing, it might be a small update, but any progress forward is a good thing :).
