NEGATIVE EQUATIONS
When you need to do equations and there is only negative numbers. Just count all the negative numbers together. Remember, the sign is always negative.
If there is no minus sign in front of a number then the sign is always positive.
When you need to do equations and there are positive and negative numbers.
Step 1
Collect all the negative numbers in the equation count them together and remember the negative sign.
Step 2
Collect then all the positive numbers in the equation count them together and remember the positive sign.
Step 3
Subtract the smallest number from the largest number and remember the sign of the answer.
