Well, I tried to go to Sagehen Meadows again this afternoon. It's a favorite nearby spot of mine for wildflower photos, especially when it snows this late in the year. Unfortunately, the wildflower scene at Sagehen Meadows is pretty weak this year, no photo were taken there. However, on my drive back down the dirt road, I found this little patch of flowers, right when it started dumping snow. Redemption! Ok, it's not my best photo ever, but I still like it. The blending of seasons always seems like a great subject matter to me.
Shot with a Canon 5DS R and a 25-105mm lens set at 65mm. ISO 1000, aperture f/8.0, and a shutter speed of 1/640 of a second. I needed a fast shutter speed in order to freeze the snowflakes and not have them look like streaks of white.
Thank you for looking!
