Sometimes the world seems back and white, even under the water. The reef of the Pacific Northwest are covered in life much of it brightly coloured like this large Painted Anemone. These flower looking animals feed on anything that my float by their tentacles.
I find shooting in black and white some how brings definition and a new perspective to the ocean world and it allows me to feel that seeing in colour is a luxury not everyone has.
