https://fundition.io/ is an amazing platform on the Steem blockchain that helps to highlight crowdfunding projects. For me it's particularly awesome for supporting charities. The biggest reason this is so awesome is because you can support these projects for free using your Steem vote power and or money if you should choose. It enables people with some financial restrictions to still give and contribute to charities they want to support without causing themselves to struggle financially to do so. Founders can offer rewards like shout outs etc. to backers to incentivise them more as well as the entire platform is gamified. You earn points for every donation you do and there are leaderboards on each project for who is donating the most so you can also get a small reputation boost for your good deeds!
