Bluey 'Dollarbucks'

Who doesn't love Bluey, the adorable Australia cartoon character?

Earlier this month the Australian Post Office released some Bluey coin sets (Dollarbucks)

through their retail outlets and online. I was a bit slow off the mark and went to a few shops an hour after they had opened, however, all the coins were sold out!

Lucky for me, there were still sets to be had online and I scored one of these $1 non-circulated mintages.

The coins come in a roll of 10 coins and a display pocket. I let me daughter excitedly open the coins and we were hoping for a rare coloured Bluey coin in the set. Fortune has it that we had one of the rarer coloured coins making this set worth over $350 (retail price is $29)!

I don't plan on selling them though and will hand them down to my kids, just like the other coin mintages I have purchased over the years.
