Our childhood days are now very old in my head
I failed to see you cry
Even for those wishes you didn't get.
Thank you for being strong with your smiles.

It's been long and it's been slow
I hear you've fallen for him
I ponder on that glow in your eyes
And on your wooden heart, what words did he write that took you so away?

Rumours will stay forever
Woods will burn someday.
Today, in your eyes, I saw how like, firewood, your desires burst into flames.
I had hoped you would see me the same way I saw you.

So it was true, all of those rumours?
That in another man, you've found humour.
That now your ride is so full of glamour
That I'm even favoured
Coz you left one thing for me...,
A name...
Looser!!!

You've walked away from our hood
Far away into the forest
Into your womanhood
With rumours lurking within the woods

You never understood
Nobody knows it all
Sometimes things do go wrong
But remember how things were good
We painted memories of childhood
And talked again those things we thought we should do
Before flames of burning firewood.

However you feel, dear.
To this rumour,
I deny to be lost within these woods

Coz nobody knows all
Forever rumours will be
As our desires and pleasures wear out, someday, like old woods.
