Even though I'm from the Cordilleras (Benguet), I only got to visit Sagada after college graduation. It's definitely a wonderful place and I'm sure it still is.

It was during the papal visit (2015, 3 day holiday) that me and my friends availed of a joiner van tour from Manila. We later realized that our group was composed of 10 vans and there are other tour groups that also went to Sagada.

I thought spelunking was easy, involving mostly crouching and sliding inside the cave. We took the Cave Connection tour (Lumiang + Sumaguing), oh boy -- it was really a challenge! Due to the sheer number of people as well, we were inside of the cave for 6 hours because of heavy people traffic! That was only for Lumiang, which was very dangerous as well. We skipped Sumaguing because it was already around 11pm and we're done being inside the cave.

It was still one heck of an experience and didn't overshadow the beauty of the Mountain Province. :)
