On my last stopover in Iceland I had the chance to explore a tiny bit of this beautiful island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. One of the highlights is the Bridge Between Continents which is around 20 minutes from the international airport in Keflavik. This small foodbridge connects the Eurasian (right side )and the North American (left side) tectonic plates together. Being there and walked over it is a great experience and symbol of unity and shows how fragile our planet earth really is.
