You have already met our first two scholars: Myke and Carlo. We have a new official scholar, Elden, who will be introduced to you early next week.
The program's target is to give a P1000-allowance (roughly 20USD) to sponsored students at the first week of each month of the entire school year. Students that will join the support program a bit late in the year, such as in Carlo's and Elden's cases, would start off with a two months worth of allowance meant for the upcoming and previous months.
ScholarsPH is ready to distribute stipends this September
| Scholar | Allowance to be Given | Month Allocation |
|---|---|---|
| Myke | P1000 (~19USD) | September |
| Carlo | P2000 (~38USD) | August & September |
| Elden | P2000 (~38USD) | August & September |
| Total | P5000 |
Required funds amounting to P5000 has already been distributed to key persons who will then award the allowance to each student. Here are the transactions completed earlier today:
56.20 SBD converted to BCH for withdrawal using Blocktrades.us,
50 STEEM converted to BCH for withdrawal using Blocktrades.us,
Converted BCH to required amount of P5000~,
The ScholarsPH team will distribute corresponding amount to each student by next week. We'll make sure to document the awarding process so please watch out for our next posts, especially the updates for our first-time awardees : Elden and Carlo.
We have five more applicants interested in joining the program. But as much as we like to support all these deserving students, it is essential to carefully manage the pace of the program's growth to maintain sustainable support to our current scholars. But rest assured that a slot would open as soon as funding is sufficient.
