Some of us question the events before us. Others grind through them in the hopes of staving off potentially tricky scenarios. There are many ways to deal with life. I hope we all find the best path forward to deal with what comes our way.
The Word for the WOTW contest S5W6, Apostate, was more apt than I could imagine as I will explain shortly. Until then, let's talk about the Apostate Contest WOTW winners!

The Word of the Week contest is untenable in its current configuration. @Calumam is away, and @nonsowrites is a busy person. Life sometimes gets in the way.
It takes quite some time to evaluate each article according to the guidelines Calumam, and I approved over a year ago. It was almost like a full-time job with little to no pay, and I was happy to do it even after it was just the three of us grading. Now, it's just me and what help I can get along the way.
Life as it seems, has presented me with new challenges and obstacles I have to address outside of Hive.
There are people that love this contest and wish to see it continue. @Calumam, @nonsowrites, or I have no copywriting or authority over the contest. Calumam created it, and I seemed to flow into managing it during his earlier hiatus.
Perhaps @dreemport would be interested in carrying things forward? I'd love to see what Dreem could make of it. She has the skill. I have faith. The contest is there for anyone who wishes to run it.
I wish everyone who has participated in the contest by reading and engagement the best. This isn't the last from me by any means. I am unable to carry out this contest in its current capacity.
