I'm a little sad reading this article. It reminded me of when I visited my grandmother in Puerto Rico. My grandfather was a sugar cane and coffee farmer. She didn't use the same pot as you did. It was a different metal. The coffee beans, though, were ground between two stone wheels. It was an amazing drink she made. I'm a little sadder thinking about this now that she's gone, but I'm also happier for the fond memories. Thank you.
