In terms of value for money, a visit to a Viennese theater like this is the best in the following way: Sunday afternoon performance, because afterwards you can easily take the train home to Budapest. For me, this is about an early morning departure, sightseeing (without entrance tickets), theater (max. 40 euros ticket) and late evening arrival home.
