The Antoniberg at Stepperg / Der Antoniberg bei Stepperg

High above the Danube rises the Antoniberg with its avenue of ancient linden trees. For me, this place has a great attraction as the two chapels suggest a pagan cult place. From up there you have a good vantage point. And you can look down on the Danube, in the distance you can imagine the old town of Neuburg.

Hoch über die Donau erhebt sich der Antoniberg mit seiner Allee aus uralten Linden. Für mich hat dieser Ort eine große Anziehungskraft, da die beiden Kapellen auf einen heidnischen Kultplatz schließen lassen. Von dort oben hat man einen guten Aussichtspunkt und kann auf die Donau herunter blicken und in der Ferne die Altstadt von Neuburg erahnen.
