As a chess trainer I am full aware of your points.
You will see no tournament here without increment, this makes it a little bit friendlier for the non professionals.
Even 5+0 is in my opinion just for flagging the weaker ones out of competition.

1+1 is really not often played here, but from time to time I think it should be in.

I am very open to anyone who is starting a new format with longer games.
