Thanks for the suggestions!
In one day will be to long as it will touch too many time zones, we had this tested a few month ago with 3 tournaments, at least there where only a few left. In two days it is more realistic and I think this could be the best way. First day 2 hours, second 1 hour plus extra games if needed. In any case it should be on one weekend, not on two or three.
Without time increment I will never organize anything. The reason is easy: it is not chess at all, just the better mouse and connection wins. All players from Venezuela will be out and other countries also. The better player have always the possibility to berserk and make it both without increment, so they can do it without any problem. In the tiebreak games they may decide it for themselves. I see only 3 players capable of doing it without increment, 50 will be left behind.
10+0 or something like this long need at least 2 hours to make any sense and then the waiting time will be up to 20 minutes if only a few players are there, it is complicated.... maybe for a special event.
