Anyone that was born before 1985 probably got the play words the title is from a rock song in the hey day of MTV.

The title does resonate with me though. Granted we are already a month and a half into 2023, but I still find myself reflecting on the last two post covid years and what I got out of them with a focus on how I'm going to shift going forward.

A Dream or Free Labor???

There are many many things I have been involved in over the last two years that admittedly I had passion for, but eventually burned out because I was no longer getting value from it nor making any kind of real compensation.

Being part of something is fun and giving back feels good, but regressing in your own endeavors or financial well being cannot be the detriment.

That is somewhat the scenario the last two years has felt like for me and I'm pondering how to pivot.

Deciding what it is I actually want to focus on more in 2023 that can be beneficial to both me and others, as opposed to just the latter.

I will admit, I have been undecided. Looking for the hell yes - yet to find it though.

Luckily I am plenty busy in the meantime between real estate investing, crypto, blogging and trading some stock options. Then there is all the zoom calls as well.

The reality is, I probably just need to pare down and focus on the one or two things that make me money and I enjoy, then let go of the rest.

Conclusion

Just a day in the life of a full time investor/entrepreneur sharing random thoughts and feelings on life.

Nothing more, nothing less. If in any way you got something from it, that is awesome.

Moving along....
