Very true, sadly many people sadly deny God because they cannot bear affliction and in this life we suffer many disappointments and tribulations but God commands us to ensure that we do not enter into temptation. Moreover, those words spoken by our Lord about John 16:33 should fill us with hope.
"These things I have spoken to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have affliction; but trust, I have overcome the world."
