The first fact that shows the existence of God is the existence of the universe. No rational person doubts that the universe exists, so how and why did it get here? In biblical language, Scripture begins with: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1: 1). This statement declares that the universe has a beginning. It all started at some point that we call time. and has an author who is God.
