@elion, certainly being in an extreme situation knows very well that it is not easy to maintain composure. It is not a lack of faith, but human capacity is exceeded by circumstances.
In view of such weakness, God becomes our strength, which gives us the ability to stand firm in the test. The Lord offers the serenity that is required to overcome the obstacles that life offers us. The power of Christ is the force that supplies our weakness and makes us victorious in our darkest moments (2 Co 12.9-10).
