He squirted aftershave onto his hands before rubbing them on his neck and face.
'You're amazing, did I tell you that?' He grinned at Julie. His face beamed like a schoolboy who had finally made it with the girl he had a crush on.
'Yes, you tell me all the time.' Laughing, she wiggled toward him deliberately brushing up close. 'You sure you have to go?' His shirt was coarse against her skin.
'You know what it's like. Always on the hustle.'
James drew her close, kissing her hard. His hands roamed freely over her body and he heard her respond in kind, breathing deeper and faster pushing against him. He pulled away almost victoriously. His fingers trailed through hers as he pulled away to the door. He paused there, on the cusp of leaving.
'Laters Julie.'
That schoolboy smile again.
The door closed. Julie danced over to it, making sure it was locked. Her smile disappeared swiftly from her face. God, she fucking hated him. Hated all of his type. Their disgusting need to have their ego massaged. Their need to be recognised, to feel like a man by fucking a woman for money. Most of all she hated herself. Her own need.
She checked the time. Damn, it was late. She headed briskly to the shower. Roger would be home soon and she hadn't even started dinner. She would have to clean the place up. Roger must never know. She vowed not to do it again. This time she would hold herself to it.
This time.
