Hola, comunidad, en esta semana 275 del primer concurso musical en que participé en la blockchain Hive.blog - Hive Open Mic - la temática sugerida es "Let's go for a coffee!" (Vamos por un café) , por ello les traigo la canción "Moliendo café" del músico venezolano Jugo Blanco. El ritmo es "orquídea" creado también por él e integra como introducción e Intermezzo el "círculo andaluz".
La lírica nos habla del "zambo Manuel". En los primeros años de la colonia, cuando en Venezuela apenas estaba dando sus primeros pasos el proceso de mestizaje, eran llamados "zambos" los hijos de aborígenes y africanos. Y eran esclavos.
En este caso, el zambo Manuel, a la tristeza de la esclavitud se le suma una pena de amor que hace más pesado el trabajo de pasar toda la noche "incansable" moliendo café, en aquella Venezuela en que los dos principales renglones agrícolas productores de riqueza con la mano de obra gratuita de los esclavos eran el cacao - del cual se procesaría luego el chocolate - y el café.
