Hive Open Mic Week 280 "Para que no me olvides" Cover by @sayury kit

Un gran saludo a toda esta maravillosa comunidad de amantes de la música. Deseo que cada uno tenga evilución espiritual, material y física y la bendición de nuestro Creador repose en sus hogares.

Está semana 280 de Hive Open Mic nos propone la temática "Drawing" (Dibujo). Estuve revisando en mi archivo mental distintas canciones cuyas palabras estuvieran relacionadas con dibujar o pintar y recordé una muy bonita titulada "Para que no me olvides", en la cual el enamorado ofrece pintar el horizonte y los alhelíes con la finalidad de no ser olvidado por su amada.

Su letra originalmente fue un poema del escritor y poeta chileno Oscar Castro (25 marzo 1910 - 1° noviembre 1947) que fue musicalizado por el grupo Los Cuatro de Chile, banda muy conocida por su difusión de la poesía de Óscar Castro a través de los arreglos musicales de Pascual Rojas y la musicalización de Ariel Arancibia. Todo con un estilo muy suyo que recibió el nombre de "folclor cultural"

Esta canción estuvo muy de moda en Venezuela en cierta etapa de mi infancia consagrándose como una de esas canciones que nunca pierden vigencia, presente siempre en el "repertorio" de los programas radiales con "música para recordar".

This week 280 of Hive Open Mic proposes the theme "Drawing". I was reviewing different songs in my mental file whose words were related to drawing or painting and I remembered a very nice one titled "So that you don't forget me" in which the lover offers to paint the horizon and the wallflowers in order not to be forgotten by his beloved.

Its lyrics were originally a poem by the Chilean writer and poet Oscar Castro (March 25, 1910 - November 1, 1947) that was set to music by the group Los Cuatro de Chile, a band well known for its dissemination of Óscar Castro's poetry through the musical arrangements of Pascual Rojas and the musicalization of Ariel Arancibia. All with his own style that received the name "cultural folklore"

This song was very fashionable in Venezuela at a certain stage of my childhood, establishing itself as one of those songs that never lose validity, always present in the "repertoire" of radio programs with "music to remember."
