I have seen God too
the people around me who helped me to feel at ease
the smiles of friends who never made me feel less
the actions of my dear ones who loved me in spite of my mistakes
the words of people which lifted me up even when I fell down
God is evident for those who seek him
he may be a blur for those who doubt
you cannot serve two masters at one time
so either you believe him or you don't
miracles are his visiting cards
and the voice that warns you from within your conscience, his signals
we just need to tune our stations
and wait for his radio signals
life will then be a smooth sail
Rituals and traditions - you may not follow or believe
if you have a kind heart, that will do for HIM
if you take care of your elders and parents, you shall be blessed
a kind deed and a kind smile
a packet of food given to a hungry mouth
then you are the dear God to him
God is in us and in other beings
we just need to wipe away the illusion that is Maya
and recognize the love that we are made up of, within
Your heart is not made up of stone
it is like the sweet ball of Rosogolla
full of sugar and pure white
which can be squeezed and can be eaten with delight
learn to smile and love
forget the vice and the frowning brow
start to spread the love from within
and you shall recognize that you are God too
