The sun shines
Dark clouds hide the sun
Rains pour down
The haiku starts with a bright, optimism and there is an anticipation for what is going to happen next. The reader could imagine anything that could happen. It could be a storm or it could be a happy event. Only the poet decides what to do with the next line. This is the beauty of creative writing.
A sudden change is brought about in the next line - the onset of a storm is predicted and the reader is warned about a drastic change. This can indicate the physical like the climate change that is now being witnessed in this world or it can indicate the storms in the lives of men and women who live happily and the sudden changes that change the direction of their lives turning a perfect life into one of disaster.
Rains pour down - the sound is being conveyed through these lines. One can instantly imagine what it would be like. The sound of sudden rain; the smell of the rain filled mud and the refreshed feeling all at once.
I hope you liked reading about this Haiku that I wrote a few days back.
The flowers bloomed
The bees collected the honey
Man took it away
The above haiku captured a moment in time. The flower bloom indicating the beauty of nature and the duty of nature in helping to sustain life. Imagine a world without flowers and it will affect not only the beauty aspect but also the cycle of life. Without flowers, there won't be any eco system left. No fruits and life would stop. Even a tiny insect has a role to play in this planet.
The bees are hard workers. They always collect the honey and store it. Imagine hte amount of hard work that goes into collecting a drop of honey. What we get in stores is the result of the work done by thousands of bees.
Man takes it away within seconds. The destruction done by the human on this planet is huge and some are irrevokable. There are many endangered species and many species cannot be created ever again.
We can do our bit by not using plastic.
Recycle Reuse
Stop polluting the environment.
Let us all plant saplings too.
God bless.
