For a while now, the time that I can spent on Hive has been significantly reduced. Past few weeks has been worst that I can't even write a post in a consistent schedule and I don't see that to be changing in the next few weeks, given what I am doing can eat a lot of time and is physically exhausting. So it becomes inevitable that I missed sharing on some topics during the time that they are most relevant, particularly with Splinterlands that consistently add new things on almost weekly basis.
Even this end of season report has already been 6 days behind the time where I usually published it. That said, something that I noticed within last season and to this current season is that it has become way easier to climb higher leagues now. Last season, I have managed to climb at Champion I quite early, and currently, I was already at Champion I when we are not even half in the season. I have some theory why this is the case, but for not, I just want to share my overall performance last season.
| Statistic | Modern Ranked Champion |
|---|---|
| Leaderboard Rank | 54- Champion I |
| Rating | 4,520 |
| Total Battles | 481 |
| Total Wins | 249 |
| Win Rate | 51.77% |
| Longest Streak | 6 |
| Leaderboard Reward |
For modern ranked season 99, I was able to stay in the top 100 of the Champion leaderboard, taking 54th place, giving me an additional 100k Glint. This will also be the 12th straight time that I have been able to secure a spot in the leaderboard. The caveat is that I stayed at Campion I, so my season reset ended up to be in Diamond 1, making it so that, I can only get a maximum of 2 league advancement reward in exchange to potentially getting more Glint and SPS reward in my ranked battles and since I already am currently at Champion I, I will no longer be able to receive any league advancement reward.
Overall, I played a total of 481 battles, higher than the previous season, and won my battles with 51.77% or a total of 249 battles.
| Staking Rewards | 29.957 SPS |
|---|---|
| Ranked Rewards | 3,971.958 SPS - Modern |
| Brawl Rewards | 93.113 SPS |
| Tournament Prize | 1,169.400 SPS |
| Total | 5,264.428 SPS |
So, being able to win more battles, the SPS rewards that I win also increases as I go into higher rating and with last season I was able to earn a total of 5,264.428 SPS or 14.88 $ at current price, of which 3,971.958 SPS comes from ranked battle, aside from that, I also joined more tournaments last season where I earned a total of 1,169.40 SPS.
| MERITS Brawl prizes | |
|---|---|
| MERITS Draw Reward | |
| VOUCHER | 4.385 |
| Fortune Entry |
I also were able to participate on all the brawls last season that allows me to get more SPS, but more than that, I also get 15,234 Merits as Brawl prize. Add that to the Merits that I get from chests and league advancement rewards, I get a total of 38,834 Merits.
As for my Fortune entry for last season, I believe that it was a little bit better than the season prior to it. Despite that, I wasn't able to win any premium cards on the raffle draws. Must have already exhausted my luck from winning 2 Black foils during the last two seasons.
| Glint Ranked | |
|---|---|
| Glint Season | |
| Suvival | |
| Reward | |
| Total Glint Earned |
Of course, with my SPS rewards increasing, my Glint rewards also increase. So last season, I was able to earn a total of 729,308 Glint, including my leaderboard prize. As far as I know, this is by far the highest amount I received since it was implemented into the game.
| SPS Rental | |
|---|---|
| Card Rental | |
| Tournament Fees | |
| Fortune Pass | |
| Total Cost |
| Glint Purchase |
As for my DEC rental cost, my total expenses last season was 40,459.595 DEC or about $ 10.03$. It was higher compared to the prior season, but due to the current price of the token, that was only about 4.85 $ in profit.
Using the site splinterhub.com, I was able to monitor the progress of my reward cards. Since it was almost midway through the season, I had already spent some Glint on Reward chests, and I had also claimed all league advancement rewards, so it was quite of a cheat to say that this was the progression of my cards last season, but there was really nothing I could do about it since it was already done. And for that, I have my common reward collections at 93% completion, with half of my cards at max level, while my rare collection jumps to 78% completion with my Grove Doomblade already at max level.
Meanwhile, there was not much movement on my epic collection that is currently at 30% completion. My legendary collection also doesn't move that much at 23% completion, but I now have 10 out of 12 legendary units
As for my Extra collection, I now have Shadowcomb Duskrose at level 5, giving her an additional melee damage. I was also able to upgrade my Busy Beaver at level 3, and Darkguard Hellion at level 2.
season.
And that was it for the last season's recap. Since I was able to reach Champion I this season, I might be able to get higher rewards this season. But so was the case with others, and when that was the case, it also resulted in the reward pool running out faster, meaning I might get fewer rewards as time passes.
