The sympathetic appearance of this bird means that it is eagerly watched by tourists. A massive, colorful beak is his characteristic sign - hence the nickname sea parrot. Puffin breeding colonies are found in the north of the Norwegian coast, from the Lofoten archipelago to the island of Runde in the fjord region. Usually it is several hundred individuals, but the largest of them, on the island of Røst in Northern Norway, creates almost 1.3 million birds!
