1 What is 2FA (two-factor authentication)?
- It is an extra layer of protection for logging into a site or service.
- Instead of entering just a password, you also have to enter a temporary code.
- This code is often sent via SMS or generated by an app like Authy (the one your friend uses).
2 Why is it important?
- If someone discovers your password, they will not be able to log in without the 2FA code.
- It’s like having a double lock on a door: password + code.
3 Where does your friend use 2FA?
- On Drupal: the system he uses to manage his articles.
- On A2Hosting: the place where his site is hosted (think of it as a garage for his website).
