Why does Chrome only save the first word of the seed in the password manager?

Stacker News displays the seed in 12 separate boxes. It's not a single field with 12 words, it's 12 inputs. Chrome doesn't recognize it as a seed. Chrome thinks it's a password. When it sees a box and a "Confirm" button, it assumes it's a password and saves only the first box.
If you paste all 12 words into the first box, Chrome truncates them at the spaces and keeps only the first word.

This is dangerous for Speed App:

NEVER leave your seed in Chrome's password manager. If Chrome is synced with Google, your seed goes to the cloud. If someone has your Google account, they have your passwords.

What to do:

Go to Chrome > Settings > Autofill > Password manager > Disable "Offer to save passwords" while you're working with your seed.

If Chrome has already saved the first word, delete it immediately from passwords.google.com.
For Speed App / Stacker News: write your seed on paper, not in Chrome. And to receive, you don't even need the Stacker News seed; you just need your Speed App Lightning address (which starts with lnbc... or your Lightning Address).
