There is the assumption that "null" and "empty" are the same when taught in primary to secondary levels. 🤔 However, in tertiary level particularly in computer studies, there is the analogy to a paper and drawing where the paper is the "set" and the drawing is the "object", such that "empty" means paper without a drawing and "null" means no paper (therefore no drawing possible). 🤯🤓
