Today I had A wild idea, well not so wild. I thought what if I sold the sps that I got from the airdrop and turned it into credits. It Turns out that it does work and afforded me to purchase a new card! Ive recently been looking at alpha/promo cards due to the increased DEC you win by using them. Gold cards are very pricey but their ugly cousins alpha/promo cards are not. So i had to pick one up and test it out. Looking at his stat tree, health never goes up every thing else does. Enchanted defender also gains the ability thorn, which does damage back to a melee attacker when attacked.
Enchanted Defenders stats are actually pretty good, he would last a couple rounds as long as the other team doesn't have any magic guys. Mana usage is minimal and very easy to plug him into any team, attack could be better as well as speed. his health could also use a boost but his shield makes up for the lacking health.
All in all Enchanted Defender is a great card, the 10% bonus dec for using him is also an extra plus. Im glad to have him on my team, now just to level him up.
