The wonder is no more...Stephen Hawking passed away.
Some of his most important discoveries:
- if there was a Big Bang, it must have started from an infinitely small point called singularity
*Black holes are radiating energy, called Hawking radiation, while losing mass.
*He predicted the existence of mini-black holes, at the time of the Big Bang.
*Hawking considered whether the particles and light which enter a black hole were finally destroyed if the black hole evaporated.
*With James Hartle, Hawking tried to describe the history of the cosmos in one mathematical expression – “The wavefunction of the Universe”
