Yesterday, Los Angeles County health and elected officials announced extending 'safer at home' order until at least May 15. Read the Health Officer Order extending Safer at Home to May 15, 2020.
I knew they were going have to extend this order but now it's official and it's always good to go to official resources when dealing with these kinds of things.

A coronavirus testing site opened near my house in one of the parking lots at East L.A. College.
On a personal note, 2 days ago my mother felt a little tired and had a slight fever and headache. She went out to the local Walgreens about 6 days ago. Concern and slight stress began to set in. Yesterday she had a bad cough, which is not a great sign. The good news is she was able to set up a COVID-19 testing appointment relatively easy and the only thing it's on 13th Monday. Its probably because of the weekend and with easter it's understandable.
I just wanted to share this little bit of personal information, because a few weeks ago my sister was sick and was worried about maybe she had coronavirus, but it was a shit show to get tested, that one she had to play phone tag for a day, it took another day to set up a doctors appointment and then they said she did have a virus and since her symptoms were only mild, they are not gonna get her tested. Because of how bad testing was at that time.
