July 4 is the day the USA celebrates its birthday. Today is birthday 242. The day roughly coincides with the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Not just independence from England. But independence from tyranny, oppression, statism, and other oppressions of personal freedom.
Personal freedom is the source of the success of Western Civilization—this fact will likely not be understood by those raised with Eastern values or those raised in the current milieu of morally corrupt, leftist universities.
The history of the USA shows a degradation in these values over the centuries, but, finally, in these past two or three years, there are palpable signs that we are moving back toward those values. (Though it may not be clear to the many who can't see the difference between news and propaganda. Not clear to those who can't see the forest because they are preoccupied with focusing on individual trees.)
Thanks to President Donald Trump and the millions of Americans who have been working to shine the light on the deep-state corruption that has been strangling the very hope out of life.
Freedom-minded individuals are fighting back against the corruption (into which, eventually, all governments morph).
