While never really having much of an attack, having a low cost fighter with decent armor and higher health as he levels up, can distract your opponent as you pummel them with more powerful cards. Add in

Don't mess with this guy! Once he's leveled to six, he will have 2 melee attack and double strike and retaliate. OUCH! Hit him and bang bang! -2 and -2 from your health. Nevermind if one of your friendlies

Whoa, nice new card! Ranged, only 2 mana, flying and at higher levels piercing. Get this guy leveled up to 2 ranged with piercing, this can be an inexpensive and useful card for the fire splinter! @sardonic

Oh man, do I want a bunch of these guys. Adding swift (+1 speed) and inspire (+1 Melee) to all friendly monsters? Oh boy, maybe a new favorite card! Bring it on! @sardonic
