I never thought I would translate my pain into words, yet here I am.

On his crumbling throne
he withers and dies

a part of her was daydreaming and hoping
but now she sleeps with one eye open

traumatized by his agonizing piercing cries

she took a knife and carved her heart out
she put a rock instead, all used, all worn out

in a dismal swamp she was struggling to stay afloat
then loomed in the distance a lifeboat

but the deceitful rock dragged her down
and became her tombstone that caused her to drown
