Hello everyone in the Hive community, today I bring you for the first time my first SFX makeup. This is a type of makeup commonly used in special effects to recreate blows, wounds, and others... You can recreate any effect you like.
This time my boyfriend “borrowed" his face to practice and I really liked the result so here is the step by step.
The materials I used were the "James Charles" palette and the "Naked 3" concealer palette.
Hola a todos en la comunidad de Hive, hoy les traigo por primera vez mi primer maquillaje SFX. Este es un tipo de maquillaje comúnmente usado en efectos especiales para recrear golpes, heridas, entre otros… Puedes recrear cualquier efecto que gustes.
En esta oportunidad mi novio me “prestó” su rostro para practicar y me gustó muchísimo el resultado así que aquí te presento el paso por paso.
Los materiales que usé fueron la paleta “James Charles” y la paleta de correctores “Naked 3”

To start with, what I did was to take some concealer and put some on the areas where he needed it. The contour of the eyes, cheekbones and taking a little more I placed it on the septum of the nose.
Para iniciar lo que hice fue tomar corrector y colocar un poco en las zonas donde lo necesitaba. El contorno de los ojos, pómulos y tomando un poco más lo coloqué en el tabique de la nariz.
Continuing on I took a little bit of a light brown shade and placed it on the under eye and eyelid area. I also applied some concealer on the lips.
Continuando tome un poco de una tonalidad marrón claro y lo coloqué en la zona de la ojera y el parpado. Además aplique un poco de corrector en los labios.
Next I took some orange-red and applied it mixing it with the brown.
Siguiendo tomé un poco de naranja-rojo y lo apliqué mezclándolo con el marrón.
To improve the appearance of the stroke, with a little wine color shade I painted some areas of the stroke including the nose.
Para mejorar el aspecto del golpe, con un poco de color vino tinto pinte algunas áreas del golpe incluyendo la nariz.
Taking black shadow I added some to the under eye area, the bruise on the cheekbone and the inside of the lip.
With a bit of brown concealer I shaped the scars on the nose and lips.
Tomando sombra negra añadí un poco en la ojera, el moretón del pómulo y la parte interna del labio.
Con un poco de corrector marrón forme las heridas de la nariz y labios.
I took more of a wine color shade and applied it properly blending it outward to make it look more natural.
Tomé mas tono vino tinto y lo aplique difuminando correctamente hacia fuera para hacerlo ver más natural.
With some wine color lipstick I applied spots around the bruises and gently tapped them with my fingers to blend.
With silicone lipstick I applied it on the nose and lip wounds to simulate blood.
Con un poco de labial vino tinto apliqué puntos alrededor de los moretones y les di suaves toques con los dedos para difuminar.
Con labial siliconado lo aplique en las heridas de la nariz y el labio para simular la sangre.
To give the final touches I blended a little green and blue around it, finally sealed the makeup and took the final photos.
Through this process of my first makeup I learned that blending is the key as well as the correct use of shades according to skin tone. I don't make use of perfect techniques but the use of the knowledge I already had to do it.
I hope that as time goes by I will learn more about these techniques and the type of makeup I love so much.
Para dar los últimos toques difuminé un poco de verde y azul alrededor, finalmente sellé el maquillaje y tome las fotos finales.
A través de este proceso de mi primer maquillaje aprendí que el difuminar es la clave así como el uso correcto de las tonalidades según el tono de piel. No hago uso de técnicas perfectas sino el uso del conocimiento que ya tenía para realizarlo.
Espero que con el paso del tiempo aprender más sobre estas técnicas y el tipo de maquillaje que tanto me gusta.
