Hi Family!
Today many emotions invade me to get out of my comfort zone with this challenge.
you can see the post Here
It consists of drawing the following photograph in an anime style
I must confess that although a few years ago I drew a lot of anime, for me it was difficult and I even think that I wanted to do it with the sensual, sexy characteristic of the anime characters.
However, it was a challenge that I could not refuse, so initially I thought about going digital
This was chaos, I tried to use the Autodesk Sketchbook program, which is very popular (My photoshop stopped reading the huion tablet) but this program only allowed me to make three layers, does anyone know why?
I didn't have much patience to continue so I turned to traditional drawing
First I made an ugly sketch in my notebook to analyze the details it should have, big eyes, simple lines
Bearing in mind the style in which I would do it, I began to make the sketch on watercolor paper using a red color
I really wanted it to look sexy
Then I started applying the base color using the watercolors as I usually use them, first with plenty of water
I should have guessed before! , the watercolor colors were too opaque for an anime-style hue
But everything in life has a solution!
I took out my old box of Norma's school markers which are also about to dry and started with the face paints to see the tone and then in the suit
However something was missing, something important. the lineart!
At last it was beginning to take shape
Better!!
And finally we have an anime joker
I hope you liked my drawing, wish me luck for the contest and go ahead and participate.
Have a Happy Week!
