Last night while walking through my back yard, a large orange light caught my eye. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I couldn't let a moment like this pass, without capturing it. What a beautiful site it was, no one would believe me if I tried to describe it. The colour, or even the different levels of texture the camera has captured.

Some time passed, this beautiful moon had me thinking...

The world is always published with such negative "news", and always pushing fear into the general public mind. "Global warming", "war", "politics", and don't forget the television programming created to make us dislike ourselves.

We currently have over 110 actively burning forest fires in British Columbia. With quite the blanket of smoke covering the entire lower mainland, and air advisory warnings. The next picture you see here is from another source. However it does clearly display the smoke that hovers above us.

Mother Nature has been up against insects & pests such as the "pine beetle". These little pesky creatures are native to British Columbia, however with increased numbers they pose a potential risk of not having healthy, strong trees. This is one small example why these fires are needed, and when the blaze is put out. What you're left with is land that is unable to grow plants, or obtain minerals naturally due to the fire retardant chemicals they put on the forest fire.

Yes, please hear me out. I do agree that they have to put effort forth to stop it from blazing through towns & cities. The same thing happens with the rain and flooding, items get damaged or completely destroyed. What is most important to remember is that the majority of items lost in "natural disasters" are material items. They can be replaced, new memories can be made, and you can create a new life.

I personally do not believe that the earth changes are caused by "global warming". These are all changes that mother nature requires as part of her healing process.

If we take something away from Mother Nature, she will have her consequences for us. Always appreciate the gifts she gives us, no matter how big or small that you think they might be.
