To me at least, it doesn't seem like the actions of a developed nation at all
The more I think about these "country rules", the more I see the illness of our societies. In Spain, tobacco stores are not allowed to show tobacco images on their shop windows (for kids to avoid seeing them from the street, as if they don't know what stuff is being sold in tobacco stores) but those same kids can see all kinds of killing weapons (such as big knives and katanas) in some toy stores. Or just recently, bar terraces can not have beer branded furniture or umbrellas, to avoid outdoor alcohol publicity. But they can see all the beer bottles being consumed on the tables.
We are reaching a point, where rulers have all the time of the world to create absolutely stupid rules with excuses such as trying to "protect" and what they end up creating is a fake world where all they provide a fantasy with catastrophic consequences.
When I was a kid, there were only a couple of TV channels, so in the morning at school we were talking about the previous evening broadcasted TV show or movie. I wonder if in a few months, the kids will talk about last evening broadcasted execution.
