This was supposed to be a great weekend, I had been waiting for a couple of months to go on my first long biking ride with an e-bike. I rented the bike yesterday and drove for 1,5 hours to spend the weekend in the mountains with some friends.
We woke up early and started doing what was going to be an 8 loop, taking the path of an ancient Roman Vía.
Nice slightly cloudy day, with not too much heat, and the sensations on the e-bike were excellent but...
The bike just broke after one hour of going uphill ☹️
I didn't have too much time to enjoy myself on the e-bike but at least I was able to take the road back to the cabin we have rented and will have time to relax for the rest of the weekend. I enjoyed very much riding and will consider getting one soon!
I did not crash or anything so I have the feeling it might be a factory issue, these bike frames have several years of warranty so hopefully, as there are no scratches at all, the store will believe it was not my fault at all :)
