One of my biggest weakness
Finally, I was able to get back to Football after a long time. It's one of my biggest weakness, whenever I see people playing football, I wish, I would go and jump in, but playing football is not easy, specially at this age. Even though we are not playing professional level, it needs good level of fitness, just to protect ourselves from injury. Still there is no guarantee, but the point is that, we should be in good fitness just to enter the field. Since I have been doing exercise consistently from last few months, I decided to join them in the new field.
So this place unofficially belongs to a charitable organization, that took possession of this big govt land and was developed over last decade. In fact, it was done by one man, and he died few years back, but good that, he handed it over to that organization long back. This area was being used for some annual trade fairs, and our guys decided to move in here, as our old field went away as part of road. If you remember, I shared another field, that our guys were building and we all even contributed for that, but things have changed after the election, no one is taking interest in that. It's unfortunate, but that's the harsh reality.
So this area was chosen by the team.
I ordered a new shoes from Decathlon, but unfortunately it did not arrive by the time I went, so had to manage with the old shoe. The curious me, reached the field early and did some warm up before playing. Warm up is a must before playing football, the young kids can play without warming up, but for us its mandatory.
Playing for a hour drained all energies, normal exercise is no way comparable to playing football. The area is full of greeneries, and sitting on the ground and cooling off, discussing what went right or what went wrong, is a whole different pleasure.
Next day, we got someone from the Municipality to cut those unwanted plants making the field clean. The trade fair is going to happen at the end of this month, so they started preparing for that.

I planned for the entire week, but unfortunately Cyclone Dana spoiled the plan. After three days of play, it started raining, and then I had to go to hospital as well, taking Dad. Hopefully next time, I will be able to play for a longer time, with the new shoe. It was for the first time I ordered the show online, and after trying I found the size small, but the good thing about Decathlon is that they exchanged it for free. The excitement to play football will probably remain in my soul forever.....
