Necessity teaches you everything.

Finally we decided to give it a try given that all saloons are closed during Lock down. It has been almost one and half month, and a hair cut was very necessary. So I encouraged my wife to give it a try. Initially she was a bit hesitant saying, she can't. But then I won in persuading her to take this opportunity and she was very motivated to see some youtube videos to get some idea of how a men's hair cut is done. Interestingly, our experience with Spas are not great for my daughter. So some times back, I had got a scissor, that is used in saloons / spas , and my wife is now pretty experienced to handle her hair. But cutting men's hair is not the same. But she got some idea to start with by watching some videos. And that is how it started.

But after doing some initial cut following what she learnt, she was not happy. So I had to guide him a bit on how a men's hair cut is done in the saloon. Instead of trying to use the technique that she learnt, we decided to use a comb and just cut anything on top of it. And that trick worked.

After applying the color I felt like it was pretty finished. Given that it was first time, a job well done. And now she is more confident, to do it better, in case, we have to do it again.

This was a snap on that day before the cut. So looking at that, I felt, we accomplished the hair cut and it will take at least more than a month for the next one.
