I've recently visited Hungary one of the least multi-ethnic countries in EU.
I stayed in Etyek (30 km from Budapest) one of the main wine producing areas of the Etyek-Buda wine region.
There are many small, family owned wineries in Etyek and almost everyone in the village is connected to winemaking.
Hungarians in general are really polite and happy people, they're energy is refreshing! I met a lot of interesting people, and even made good friends there!
You can go travel to Hungary till the end of September to catch the last summer sun. And possibly visit the harvest festival: where they come together sing, dance, celebrate the end of season, drink wine and cook gulash!
But let's go to Budapest, traveling is easy there because they have the best metro systems. The metro system is easy to use and you can get to anywhere in the city fairly quickly.
As rich with history.. art..culture.. and wine villages all across the country, the architecture is the most breathtaking! Ohhh, the architecture.. If you are an art lover, like me, you will fall in love with Budapest and never come back!
I know, I'm going back, because there is much to Budapest I didn't even have time for, for example the public bathhouses from Roman times which are still running!

This country has more than a thousand years of history, full of great events, battles, kings, allies, intrigue and enemies.
Elisabeth Bridge (Hungarian: Erzsébet híd) is the third newest bridge of Budapest, Hungary, connecting Buda and Pest across the River Danube. The bridge is situated at the narrowest part of the Danube in the Budapest area, spanning only 290 m. It is named after Elisabeth of Bavaria, a popular queen and empress of Austria-Hungary.
The Parliament Building covers an area of 18,000 sq meters (193,750 sq feet), it has 691 rooms, 20 kilometers (12,5 miles) of stairs and it is 96 meters (315 feet) high. There are 90 statues on the façade and 40 kilograms (88 pounds) of 23-carat gold was used to decorate the interior.
Unfortunately after WWI Hungary shrank to a much much smaller scale, taking away all the magnetic mountains meaning in Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia.
BEST PUB OF ALL AGES OF PEOPLE
I wanted to share this ruin pub I came across in Budapest Szimpla Kert located on the Kazinczy Street (utcja) 14, because this place stayed in my memory the most
The legendary Szimpla Kert is the most complex and best-known ruin pub in Budapest. It offers a variety of programs every day of the week: concerts, parties, activities for the elderly, exhibitions, a farmers’ market, and numerous cultural events are all held under the same roof.
This pub stayed in my memory the most due to its a mix of styles, and the eclectic vibe of urban life. the place is for all groups of people! That place was packed!
The place is mostly occupied by foreigners, but there is no lack of Hungarian guests either, thanks to a wide variety of cool concerts.
Furthermore, on Sundays we can also pop in for breakfast, while on any other days of the week we can devour delicious lunch specials as well. This is a popular, homey place for friendly get-togethers, and it sports peculiar interior-design solutions
